High Temp Coatings are the ultimate in heat protection. Two types of High Temp coatings are available, Chromex and Satin Metallics. Both of these finishes offer different levels of protection. Cerakote Chromex Series offers extraordinary adhesion, withstands high heat oxidation, protects metal substrates and remains thermally stable with temperatures exceeding 1200°F. In addition, NIC's Chromex product line results in a polished, chrome-like finish that actively resists corrosion. Used mainly in the marine, military, automotive and aerospace industries, NIC's high temperature formulas are durable, strong, long lasting and can withstand higher heat than competitive products.
