Powder Coating

Powder coating is used for many different types of applications. Powder coat finishes are extremely durable coatings available in many specialty colors and textures. The ideal substrate for powder coating is metal. But there are other substrates that can also be powder coated using special techniques. Powder coat is applied using an electrostatic gun; the piece is placed in the oven to cure. Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues. It’s tough, looks great and it lasts a long time. In addition to being durable, powder coating is an attractive choice due to environmental advantages.
